Arash Resists: Voices for Change
In Iran, freedom of speech and political expression are limited. Many people are unable to speak openly about injustice and corruption. This website was created to help give a voice to those who cannot speak freely and to stand alongside the Kurdish people in support of basic rights and dignity.

ABOUT ME
I am a Kurdish individual from Iran. I grew up in an environment where political criticism, independent journalism, and open discussion about corruption and human rights were limited. Speaking openly about those in power was not encouraged, and many people learned to stay silent out of fear of consequences.
After leaving Iran and living in the United Kingdom, I began to engage more openly with political issues affecting my people. Being outside Kurdistan gave me the freedom to attend peaceful protests and to speak publicly about corruption, lack of accountability, and the suppression of free speech. My political activity increased over time as I became more aware of the risks faced by journalists and activists who speak the truth.
Many Kurds have been threatened, attacked, or killed for exposing corruption and abuse of power. Their deaths have had a lasting impact on Kurdish society and have shown how dangerous it can be to speak openly inside Iran. When journalists are silenced, ordinary people lose their voice as well.
I believe it is important to stand up for those who cannot speak freely and to support the right of the Kurdish people to express their views without fear. Through peaceful protest and public expression, I choose to speak out in support of truth, justice, and basic human rights for my community.
